New Year’s Resolution Competition – Winning Entry
Congratulations to Julie who won a $25 gift card to Sublime with her winning entry to our New Year’s Resolution Competition. We think her list is a great idea and is something that could be embraced by everyone. This was her entry:
Me and My List
My resolution is to feel better about myself each day of 2008 and ultimately
become satisfied with who I am by 2009. I want to achieve this in a way that is
personal to me, so I have made a list of things that I want to do this year, and regardless of how trivial or unremarkable they may seem to others, they are things that I know will make me happy. The list will be truly mine – nobody can change it and nobody can take away from the joy it will bring me. With the help of my list I resolve to control my happiness and my life and not obsess over things I have no control over. My list includes things like paintballing for the first time and celebrating my birthday without worrying about the people who didn’t show up to the party. 2008 is about me and my list.

We've officially launched our new campaign - Find Your Fit: Swimwear for EveryBody.
Watch for our ads in the St. Albert Gazette, Saint City News, Edmonton Sun and many more!
We used 13 local women as models, aged 18-58 and sizes 4-18. We had a fantastic time showing off our curves and making new friends. For some of us, this was a very freeing experience, to be able to show our bodies and be proud of how we look.
Even the staff volunteered to model swimwear as well!

Facebook...chances are you've heard of it, and now it seems everyone has one. My mom has one. My friend's grandma has one. You can make one for your dog. It's really amazing to find people you have lost touch with and see what they're up to now. I didn't think I knew 200 people, but apparently I do on Facebook!
If you haven't yet checked it out, you can do so at www.facebook.com. In a nutshell, Facebook is a social networking website. You can check out their classifieds to find a job, a car, a house and pretty much anything you're looking for.
It amazes me when I sit back and think about how far we've come in technology. What did we ever do before email? I can't live without my email accounts...I check them every morning and evening to keep in touch with friends, colleagues and even to stay on top of local events and fashion trends. I can't wait to see what's next for us in this amazing age.
